  1. Dr. Ralph, I’m an outpatient LSOTP for juveniles. Would you suggest that your manual be used in the S.O. juvenile group or be used in a separate adjunct group? The S.O. Groups are usually open groups so there are new kids coming and going. Thank you for your time.

      Hi, Sarah,

Dr. Ralph sent the following reply:

Thanks for your question. Being a Pro is designed to be used from beginning to end, and the material is in a sequence. The content of the book is based on research and our understanding of how to promote prosocial reasoning in juveniles. Likewise the sequence of chapters is also based on neuropsychological research regarding how best to teach concepts. Therefore I would recommend using the workbook in a separate adjunct group where the same group of kids can go through the material from start to finish. We had good luck in California with some counties using the workbook and have some research in progress regarding outcomes which I hope we can publish soon. Let me know if I can be of further help.

If you have further questions, post them here and we’ll get Dr. Ralph’s response.

      Thank you for your participation!
